"W-wha, I don't understand. How did you brake out of jail?!" Dipper knew that now wasn't the perfect time to be asking questions, but it was so hard not to. However, he did admit to himself that he should've been looking for a way out of the current mess he'd found himself in.

He was at Gideon's warehouse again, but this time it was in the basement; closed off with no light, and surrounded by thug like goons. His arch enemy only smiled politely as Dipper picked himself off the ground he was thrown onto, as a show of good will for him to prepare himself. Dipper furrowed his brow knowing fully well that Gideon was above moral aesthetics. "Oh I found a way, thanks to a good friend of mine."

"Good friend? Who- ugh.. Bill.."

"I can only assume you know what I want now, don't you Dipper Pines?"

"Don't say my full name like you're above me you cheap furby!"

"..You listn', and you listn' good boy. I'd be wise not to insult me when you know I can have my men on you in about three seconds."

At the end of his threat, Dipper begrudgingly silenced himself. Figures Gideon would need thugs in order to deal with one person. But these guys, he assumed, were criminals. It would be best if he'd a least let him monologue, but he couldn't help but to force down every vile name he cold think of to call the little twerp. "Good, now as you're probably guessin', I want revenge on you and your family for every lil' thang you done caused. Oh I do hate to sound predicable, I really do. But, I figured I'd tell you what I'm gonna do to you first." The little runt smile, but not in his usually fake-y sweet way, this time it was menacing and cold. He walked forward and yank Dipper down by the front of his shirt to meet his cold gaze. While looking to him, he noticed that Gideon never looked at him directly in the eye, as if he wasn't worth the effort.

"For every second I spent my time in my cell hatin' you, for every second I've spent waitin' in solitude, for EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. I've thought to that dark place that the lord may never dare shine his lil' light- Oh-hoho Dipper I'm gonna make you WATCH as I tear your family apart."

The threat lingered as Dipper tried to keep a calm state but deep in his very core, he was shaking. Something seemed so off, and the fact that Bill had in fact betrayed him to help Gideon hurt his family seemed all the more devastating. For some odd reason he felt hurt when he should've been relieved that his suspicions were correct. But now wasn't the time to be thinking about him he had to focus on the here and now, maybe if he distracted Gideon long enough he could make a break for it. He scoffed. "You may take me down, but what do you plan to do about my sister?" Gideon faltered, loosening his grip on Dipper's shirt before going red in the face. "You're sister will-"

"Will NEVER have you, and what's she going to say knowing you hurt everyone she cared about huh?"

"She'll learn to love what I have created for her and she'll learn to love me!"

"Yeah, when fat little pigs like you, fly."

Gideon looked about ready to pop a vain while Dipper patted himself on the back for his Stan-like delivery on that insult. He had a feeling his Gruncle would've been proud. As Gideon was about to throw a hissy fit, Dipper gathered up all the stamina he could and threw the small boy as hard as he could to the ground before running straight for the door. Everything was happening so fast as Dipper pumped to make it to the door that was so obnoxiously close as he tried to ignore his tired muscles protesting that they still needed to rest. He made to the door handle but was quickly yanked back by the back of his vest and shirt before being lifted up so he couldn't run. Dipper mentally cried out seeing as how freedom was so close. The tall muscular man with no pupils brought him back easily despite his best attempt at squirming free. Gideon was rubbing at a scrape on his elbow, one of his friends kneeling by his side tending to it. "Hey, It's okay dog. You want the smiley face band-aid or the dinosaurs?" Gideon sniffled and mumbled his response, choosing the dinosaurs. "You okay?" Gideon nodded. "Yes. Thank you." He gave them little fist bumps. If Dipper's life wasn't at risk here, he would've laughed uncontrollably at how ridiculous this was but he kept it down to a quite scoff and eye roll. Gideon wiped his eyes before glaring back at the preteen furiously. "Drop him." He was dropped rather roughly, this time he was surrounded in a tight circle, there was no way he'd be able to escape now. Gideon stepped forward once more, pulling out something from his pocket. It looked to be an old yellowing page from a book with writing that looked like it was from.. The journals! "What are you planing to do to me?" Dipper felt a surge of panic, Gideon wasn't merciful when it came to magic and as much as the preteen hated to admit it, Gideon was exceptionally talented with controlling magic while Dipper found himself struggling with pronouncing certain spells and words. The little monster grinned. "Just somethin' that'll put you in your place. Let's just see what you fear the most. Dipper Pines, welcome to a dark world."

"Wait don-"

"Evig flesruoy ot ruoy dnim, ruoy sthguoht, ruoy sraef, tel gnihtyreve tpek dekcol pu ni ruoy mulleberec emoc ot efil!"

His eyes glowed a bright, almost blinding blue before everything disappeared into black.

Dipper got up quickly looking around carefully. "The dark world..? Well, it is dark.. Focus Dipper! We need to get out of here.." Suddenly, before he could walk forward, a forced pulled him back. Hands, black gooey, disgusting hands from out of the dark were pulling him back to the ground, like in his dream. He yelped and clawed at the ground frantically, searching for anything to set him free. "L-let go of me!" His demand went unheard as they continued. He was now chest deep in the ground, it seemed to constrict him as his lungs were squeezed tight. His heart jumped into his throat as now he was up to his neck in the earth, he tried to think rationally. "It's not real it's not real it's not real!" He cried out before squeezing his eyes shut. The forced lightened and he opened his eyes again, this time he was in a room full of red curtains and mirrors. The strange thing was, all of his reflections were faceless. He put a hand to his chest to make sure his heart was actually beating, that he was still him at that moment. The other hand reached for the journal but he knew it probably wouldn't help him considering how the page this world came from was in journal number two. He let out a shaky breath, his reflections were starting to get to him. "G.. Gideon, this isn't going to work, I know you're doing this!" The images started to flicker and he smiled, he just had to tear this veil down and try to remember that what ever happened was all in his head. Before he could try to break the illusion again a soft whisper spoke, it sounded like his sister.

       "Di..ppe..r ple..as..e don't h..urt me.."

"W..what? Mabel?"

"Don't.. H..urt me.."

He didn't want to take the bait, he really really didn't want to, but hearing his sister sound so sad and torn really tugged at his heart. It sounded like she was with him in person, she had to be there with too. "Mabel.. Mabel that's ridiculous, I would never ever hurt you."

"Please.. Help.."

"Mabel where are you? Just stay right there."

The ground shook sending shock waves through his body and a voices, dozens, seemed to scream at him. They scream pleas for help, for mercy, calling out his name. Each voice pierced his ears and the mirrors began to crack, his reflections silently laughing. Dipper covered his ears to muffle the screams as best he could but it was no use, he could feel disaster, he could feel fire, he could feel chaos all around him. It was his friends. All of them, screaming in agony, begging for him to spare them. A very clear and distinct voice rang out above the noise.

       "Hurt them."

He squeezed his eyes shut. His faceless copies grew smiles and joined in, mixing in with the screams.

"Kill them."

"No.."

"Liars."

"No no.."

"Hurt everyone who has ever hurt you."

"Stop.."

"Trust no one."

"Stop it!"

"You and me Pine Tree.. Look what we can create, together."

"Shut up!"

"You're just as evil as I am. Come on, lets prove these non believers wrong. Lets have some fun, you and me. "

The screaming turned into desperate sobs. The hands, now attached to shadowed bodies came out from beneath him, grasping his shirt desperately, clinging to whatever they could hold on to. They all had the eyes of his family and friends. He gasped and frozen in horror looking into his sister's eyes, crying and pleading for her life. The reflections, now with 'Bipper's' eyes started chanting whispers around him nonstop.

"Dipper is a liar, Dipper is a liar, Dipper is a liar. "

"Join us, join us, join us."

"Show them they were wrong, show them they were wrong, show them they were wrong."

His head was pounding, there was no end to his hell, no break in what was realty or fantasy anymore, there was no tear he could grasp. It was all to real for him now. He was trapped in his own head with no way out. Everything got louder, soon followed by laughter, and sobbing. "Stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it!" His reflections, they were his own now; tear stained, red puffy eyes, with a sick grin attached to his face chocking out fits of giggles and sobs. "Aha.. Haha.. Hahahahaha!" He clung to himself and fell to his knees unable to stop his big break down.

Stanley wasn't in the best of moods, seeing as how he was stuck with his brother in his car looking for his nephew. The first thing he wanted to do was to punch Stanford in the face, the second thing was to tell him off for not keeping his promise. But, he was the bigger person and kept to himself. That's what would happen if he WAS a bigger person, instead he went at it. "Ya know you're really unbelievable. Truly unbelievable! Being a jerk to me is one thing, but you went against my back to corrupt the kids! That's my job!" Stanford sat in his seat calmly despite Stanley's reckless driving and fuming anger. Truth be told, he wasn't really focused on anything but worrying about Dipper. It was twice now that he had ran off after something he had said. He was a really bad at this. "Stanley now's not the time to be pointing fingers, we have a serious matter at hand, we have to find him before he gets hurt." Stanley paused still fuming. He thought about his poor nephew and what could passably happen to him if he never made it home, and how devastated Mabel would've been. ".. I hate it when you're right. I'm not letting this go however, and I can proudly say with confidence that for once, YOU fucked up." He went back to looking around for gas stations and bus stops.

Ford felt a twinge of guilt, this was partially his fault but he had to stay focused. A voice, very faint but very familiar spoke out. "412 Gopher Road. Now." Ford looked up a bit wondering if he had heard correctly. He knew that in all his time the only voice he should listen to was his own thoughts, but he had a feeling in his gut that he sound listen. He decided to trust his instincts. "Stanley turn around."

"What?"

He brother looked over slightly annoyed and curious. "Turn around I think I know where he is."

Stupid Gideon had crossed the line. He told him he'd be ready when he was ready and with things piling on top of each other, now was not the best time to be pulling such risky stunts like this. Bill had an easy time locating the warehouse and took his sweet time getting there, also pausing to make sure ole' Sixer knew where he was too. As he continued pushing away the big door he felt something a bit distressing. A sense the came from his sixth sense, and another followed but this time it was his own emotions. He hurried down to the basement and made his way passing the thugs easily, as if he wasn't there. He heard pathetic snivels get louder and louder. He saw the little munchkin grinning and watching the preteen huddle in a corner, laughing hysterically and crying to himself. The sight should've been a spectral of hilarious proportions, a wondrous show of madness and despair, but Pine Tree shaking uncontrollably and breaking a part made him angry. Angry because it was someone else had done this to him, he reasoned. He snatched the paper from Gideon's chubby little hands and burned it up, erupting protest from the little child until he looked up astonished by who he was standing next to.

       "B-Bill?"

The demon put on a fake smile to hide his annoyance. "That's my name, don't wither it out to bones and dust." The smaller one did a double take and stuttered his response. "H-How on Earth did you-" Bill stopped him before he could finish and he observed the thoughts and emotions of the freckled boy. There was anger, a sick sense of possession, but over compensation for big fears. Bill loved the fear in the boy's eyes as he towered over him. He loved it in Sixer's eyes as well, and he loved it in thousands of others but why was Pine Tree's..

He had more pressing matters at hand anyway. He stepped forward to his Pine Tree. "Hey kid, sorry to interrupt your mid life crisis but someone's waiting for ya." Pine Tree didn't move at first, but at the very sound of the demon's voice he shrieked in terror before pressing himself deeper into the corner. Pine Tree never acted this way around him. Sure, he was always a bit wary of him at times but he was never afraid of him. It was very odd to see someone that acted strong, even in their worst moments be reduced to this. Not even his previous temper tantrum could've compared to this. Bill's eyes widen not knowing if he liked this or not, but he was indeed curious to see what on Earth Gideon did to him. He closed his eye and everything went dark. He felt his spirit, his  true form of pure energy push against Pine Tree's barrier. It was strong for someone so young, but not nearly strong enough.

As he slid past it he could see what was tormenting the kid's mind. It was like Bill's visions of the future, except Pine Tree was in his place; destroying everything, as people he cared about pleaded for mercy. But instead of being horrified in his actions, Pine Tree was enjoying it. For every shadow he let fall into the abyss, the shadow Cipher watched on as he continued. It was honestly one of the most beautiful and horrific looking things he had ever brought upon someone. The beating in his chest swelled up painfully, he wished he knew what it was and why it was there. His mind swam in numerous emotions; apart of him wanted to push this boundary further, and experience the high he was getting by the preteen's despair. The other part oft was expressing feelings he didn't dare explore, but there was a strong feeling of guilt he couldn't escape. Another of these feelings was concern.

"What have I done to you kid.."

He bit his lip, not sure what to do or what feelings to settle on. Finally, he took a deep breath before snapping his fingers. The scene melted and Pine Tree stopped laughing. But his crying never stopped. Bill walked over and knelled in front of him, speaking softly. "Hey, kid. It's time to go home okay?" Pine Tree flinched looking up, his eyes glazed over. He blinked a few times before realizing where he was and what he was doing. "B-Bill you.. I.." Bill hushed him standing up. "Go outside and stay right where you are." Pine Tree looked at him for a moment, then without another word he left still shaking. When he was finally out of sight the doors slammed shut, and each one of the prisoners vanished. "Gideon." He said sternly, keeping his back towards the boy. "Didn't I say to wait?" The boy fumbled back, sweating nervously. "I.. I thought that since you g-got me out I could.."

"Act on your own?"

"Ye.. Yes, but- But you were taking so long! Where have ya been anyways? and why'd ya just help that miserable boy? You're supposed to be on mah side!"

"Oh Gideon, the time when you question my motives is when I dress in drag and do the hula."

He turned slowly, His cracked skin glowing brightly as his one eye turned to a pure red. The other eye that formed was burning white. Cipher was pissed, but he kept smiling.
"I told you this when we made our 'widdle' deal kid. I get you out, for a price. I. Own. You. You do NOT mess with the Pines family unless I say so. Don't double cross me again, my word is gospel. And I am on no one's side but my own."

"Bill w-wait, please- I'm sorry I didn't-"

"Oh you will be. I bet on it."

It took awhile before Dipper realized what had happened and came to his senses. He shook himself of his terrible sadistic thoughts wiping his red eyes. Looking back on it, he felt pretty stupid for being so weak. He was now more tired and drained then he had ever been. He slapped himself for the way he had been acting these past few days. Man, what was going on with him? He took a few deep breaths and thought again. Bill had... Come to help him. Bill Cipher, came to help him. Perhaps he was reading too much into it but this seemed a bit perplexing.
The devil in question broke his thoughts by rushing out the door over to his side, pulling him close for a deep and tight hug. "Pine Tree you are so so so stupid! You have responsibilities here, own up to them! You stupid human, i'm glad you aren't dead.." This, was weird. Beyond weird. Beyond comprehension. All the boy could do was take in the moment and wondered if this was indeed really happening or if Gideon had him still trapped in his mind. He looked back and forth between himself and the demon.

Meanwhile, Bill had his eye closed. He just suddenly had a sudden impulse and acted on it. He slowly opened his eye, and frowned. His felt the boy in his arms and his frown deepened. This was incredibly wrong. Before anything else happened, he did the only thing he could do and shoved the boy away quickly to the ground brushing himself off as if he had contracted something. "Too deep Cipher. You're too deep." He whispered as Dipper picked himself off the ground glaring. "Hey what the heck man? What was that for?" Good, he seemed normal.

"Shut up. Lets just get you home before you get into more trouble. Oh, would you look at that."

Dipper turned his head questioningly, as a red car pulled up to the gravel asphalt, which looked suspiciously like his Gruncle Stan's car. He turned back for a brief second and the demon was gone. He suddenly felt two pairs of arms wrap around him. "Kid! Oh thank God you're okay!" Dipper looked up at his two Gruncles and smiled warmly as he returned the embrace. "Stan, Great Uncle Ford! You found me."

"I'm glad to see you're okay Dipper, Mabel has been so worried. We all were."

Ford said as he removed the boy's hat to ruffle his messy brown hair. Dipper's face faltered a bit. Oh no, Mabel, she was going to kill him when he got home. He smiled lightly again though, he could just picture her hugging him tightly and taking care of him until he begged her to stop crushing him with affection afterwards. "I'm so sorry guys.. I'm sorry, this won't ever happen again." He said quietly, nuzzling in to his Gruncle's chest. He was so tired. Stanley looked to his brother, then down to his nephew and sighed. "It's okay kiddo. But, you're grounded until we say so." Dipper only chuckled softly before yawning. "Fair enough."
